Please read these Terms of Service (”Terms”) carefully before using the Karotto mobile application (”Karotto”, “the app”, “we”, “us”). Karotto is a coding-learning app designed for children aged 7–12. Because the app is designed for children, we expect a parent or guardian to review these Terms and be responsible for the child’s account.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Karotto, you agree to these Terms. If you are a parent or guardian setting up the app for a child, you are accepting these Terms on behalf of yourself and are responsible for the child’s use of the app under your account.

2. License to use the app

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-commercial license to install and use Karotto on devices you own or control, for your own personal or family use. You may not copy, reverse engineer, redistribute, sell, rent, or otherwise exploit the app’s lessons, characters, artwork, or other content outside of normal use of the app.

3. Free content and Premium

Karotto offers a free area and a paid (”Premium”) area:

Premium unlocks all current and future lesson content covered by your purchase. We may add new free or Premium content over time; this does not change the Terms for content you have already unlocked.

4. Purchases

Premium is sold as a one-time, lifetime purchase (a non-consumable in-app purchase) — it does not auto-renew and there is no subscription. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your card or payment details. If you reinstall the app or use a new device, use Restore Purchases (available in Settings) to restore your Premium status linked to your Apple ID/account.
